The neighborhood

Witikon is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods located on the east hill of Lake Zurich, where the sun shines all year round. Close we have the Zurich Zoo and the Dolder Bath & Ice Skating, the forest is at the end of the street and three supermarkets (Aldi, Migros and Denner) are on a shopping mall 300 meters away from the house.

The east side of the lake offers several distractions if you like arts and culture, close is The Kunsthaus (Art Museum), The Bellerive Museum, The Tram Museum, The Corbusier House, The China Garden, the Opera House and of course the lake where you can take a swim or go for a picnic in summer.

Public Transport

The trolley bus Nr. 31 will bring you directly to us in about 20 minutes from Zurich Main Station (Zurich HB). Our bus stop, WASERSTRASSE, is located 200m (656ft) from our house.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine located at each stop, either using cash or card.

EV Charger

If you come with an electric vehicle, we have a semi public 7.4Kw EV charger.

We offer two options for our apartments: furnished and unfurnished. The furnished option includes all furniture, appliances, and kitchenware, while the unfurnished option does not include any furniture or kitchenware. For the furnished option the contract is for a minimum of 1 month, while the unfurnished option requires a minimum contract of 2 years.

If you come with an electric vehicle, we have a semi public 7.4Kw EV charger.

Waserstrasse at 250 meters (820ft) away.
Zurich HB (Central Station) at 20min bus ride from our stop (Waserstrasse). Or Zürich Stadelhofen, you can also take the bus there, but you have to walk around 500 meters after the bus stop.
The normal bus works until 00:00 (12:00pm) and it arrives every 7 minutes, after that there is a night bus that works until 5:00 (am) but it's a longer route and takes about one hour to arrive here.
Although, there are several TRAM lines on this side of the lake, they don't reach our neighborhood, you always have to take a bus to come here.

Of course! There are trains to everywhere in Europe.
Yes, it is. There are several pots, pans and cutlery at your disposal, as well a fondue set in each apartment.
We have 3 Supermarkets all located behind the house in a shopping mall at 280 meters (980ft), those are Aldi, Denner and Migros.
By foot you can reach the Confiserie Honold in the shopping mall behind the house also the restaurant Hoch3 by car you can reach Wiesli30. Remember this is a residential area, if you fancy more variety we recommend you to go downtown. Also, services like JustEat work here and you can order anything from a variety of restaurants around.
We are not in close walking distance to the lake, walking there will take you about 45 minutes. Consider also that we are on a hill, so the walk down is easier than the return walk. That said the bus can let you on a close walking distance from the lake. The best spots on this side of the lake for bathing or family activities are Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen and the Chinagarten.
